PASADENA, CA.- The Pasadena Museum of California Art presents the exhibit Richard Diebenkorn: The Carey Stanton Collection on view until August 27, 2006. Celebrating the legacy of one of America's greatest artists, this exhibition showcases the private collection of Carey Stanton, owner of Santa Cruz Island and close personal friend of Diebenkorn for over 40 years. This collection has never before been seen in its entirety, and many of the works were painted on or inspired by Santa Cruz Island, reflecting a unique personal dialogue between the artist and the collector.
