D&AD Bids Farewell to Long Time Director
Chris Thompson.

LONDON, ENGLAND.-D&AD Chief Executive announced the departure of Chris Thompson, D&AD’s Director of Education & Professional Development today. Thompson, who joined D&AD in 2001, will move to Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication as Head of Enterprise and Innovation in March.

“Chris has made an outstanding contribution to the Education and Professional Development Team and to the growth of D&AD’s global programmes – particularly the Global Student Awards and the Global University Network,’ said D&AD Chief Executive Michael Hockney. “Chris will bring a unique set of skills to Ravensbourne – it sounds like a great job and an exciting challenge.”

“I've had a wonderful time at D&AD over the past six years,’ said Chris Thompson. “I've worked with a great team and some of the most inspiring people in design and advertising. I also helped to launch and grow pioneering industry focused education programmes for creative students, graduates, tutors and professionals. These programmes are set to go from strength to strength in 2007 and I look forward to being involved in them from a new perspective.”
