Works And House of Chucho Reyes on Sale

GUADALAJARA, MEXICO.- Margarita Reyes Irigoyen, grandaughter-niece of the late artist Chucho Reyes Ferreira has stated that she is willing to sell the artist’s works and properties to other countries. She says the painter has not been appreciated in Mexico. She is the heir to all the property and rights that Chucho left. She stated that she has several propositions. "I would like the antiques collection and the art collection not to separate and stay in Mexico so thatMexicans enjoy it, but if Mexico will not conserve it, then we will go abroad," stated Margarita Reyes. Jesús Reyes Ferreira (1882-1977), was better known as Chucho Reyes, and is remembered as an artist with natural traces. After the death of her brother David Reyes Irigoyen, Margarita is in charge of the house where the artist lived, in Mexico City, as well as his art and antiques collection.
