The October Gallery Presents Winter Show 2008 |

LONDON.-For 29 years the October Gallery has sought out artists from around the world who are alive to the shifting currents and creative intersections of cultures. To mark the beginning of a new season, the gallery will showcase the work of a number of internationally acclaimed artists.
London audiences will see the stunning work of El Anatsui, whose magnificent metal bottles cloths wowed the public at Venice Biennale 2007. Vibrant canvases by Austrian artist Elisabeth Lalouschek will be on display, as will work by the legend William S. Burroughs. Further artists include British painter Gerald Wilde, whose show opened the October Gallery in 1979, surreal photographs of the late 60s by Ira Cohen and the beautiful paintings of the late Guyan artist Aubrey Williams.
Winter Show 2008 will provide a truly international insight into art from across the globe. The exhibition Winter Show 08 will be on view 6th February 31st March 2008.
