LONDON.- H&H Classics have no fewer than nine intriguing Harley- Davidsons on offer at their next sale at the National Motorbike Museum on September 2nd.

The bikes cover no less than nine decades from the 1920s onwards. For anyone whose heart beats faster at the mention of the name Harley-Davidson Classics then this sale is a must.

Mark Bryan, Head of Bike Sales at H&H Classics says: “As an owner of an unrestored 1977 Electra Glide I appreciate the brand as its so iconic and I never cease to be amazed at the following these bikes get! How many other brands get tattooed as often as Harley-Davidson?”

First up is a green 1929 Harley-Davidson Model D, 750CC for £16,000 to £19,000. Restored in Holland 2015 by Morten Shultz it is and in full running order. Very original and highly collectable. On UK Nova system. Banbury Run eligible.

Green and cream 1942 Harley-Davidson EL 1000 matching number. Estimate £25,000 – 28,000. An older restoration it was last run 5/6 years ago. Needs some recommissioning before use. An older import, comes with customs paperwork, taxes paid. This rare civilian model produced during war effort years is a sought after 1000 cc Knuckle Head.

Red 1948 Harley-Davidson EL 1000, matching numbers is estimated to sell for £25,000 – 30,000. This Iconic Harley, is the last of the hard tail and first year of the Pan Head engine. This bike was imported and then displayed for 10 years. It is in running order and had an older restoration. It is very collectable says Mark Bryan, Head of Motorcycle Sales at H&H Classics.

Black 1963 Harley-Davidson 900 CC Sportster XLH matching numbers. Estimate £2,000 – £3,000. Very desirable early XLH drum brake model it has been dry stored for last few years. The engine turns ok but may require some recommissioning.

Red 1972 Harley-Davidson SX-350CC 350 with matching numbers at no reserve. It is unrestored and will require recommissioning prior to use.

Black 2001 Harley-Davidson Custom CC 1340 MOT Expiry June 2018 Estimate £8000 – £10,000.This 1340 FXR Harley Davidson Evo engine and gearbox has a Hard Tail Custom frame. Wide Glide forks and custom yokes, a Fat Boy tank and is in good running order.

Black 2005 Harley-Davidson Custom 'Darth Vader' CC 1340. Estimate £22000 – £24,000. Built by Jessie Mace of Motorcycle Works this1340 Harley-Davidson Diamond Cut Evo engine with S&S Carburettor has a belt drive 6 speed Roadmax gearbox, right hand gear shifter, Hard Tail Custom frame with paint by Evil Twins. It has a 335 rear tyre and is in good running order.

A black 1974 Harley Davidson X90 matching numbers is estimated to sell for £3,000 – 3,500.Totally original and unrestored, 800 miles from new with the same owner since 1975, rare in this condition. MOT until Nov 2017, green logbook and V5C.
