ALPs mission is to ensure that the work of all artists is protected, so it is dealt with in an appropriate manner as to secure the legacy of artists and collectors alike. The company aims to establish how the artists and collectors best interests are to be represented. ALP offers consultancy and planning that balances the creative wishes of the artist or collector, financial decisions of the estate, as well as realistic options for its management by heirs.
At the core is a consulting service that charges a reasonable fee ($1500 - $3000) to analyze and assess a body of work and to produce an initial estate plan or management strategy. Clients can then choose from a list of services that may be obtained individually or as a holistic approach. Services such as cataloguing, photography, valuation, curatorial planning, critical texts and publications will be done in house.
If clients elect, ALP will arrange these and guide them to esteemed colleagues, from conservation experts, art lawyers, financial planners to mediators. In the instance that clients have their own team already in place, ALP will work with them to provide consultation and directions.
