NEW YORK, NY.- The annual
Madison Avenue Spring 2026 Gallery Walk, held in association with ARTnews, is one of the New York Citys most anticipated art events of the Spring art season. For one art-filled Spring day on Saturday, May 16 from 10am to 5pm, 45 internationally renowned galleries will welcome art collectors and enthusiasts to view their exhibitions, register to attend 10 curator talks and tours, and have the opportunity to engage with artists.
From the legendary masters to the acclaimed contemporary artists at work today, the Madison Avenue Spring Gallery Walk provides an extensive overview of the current art scene. Offering the chance to see the artwork in person and to learn from the artists and gallery curators.
Acquavella Galleries presents Matisse: The Pursuit of Harmony, featuring 50 works on loan from museums and private collections.
Arader Galleries will celebrate this years Gallery Walk with American Revolution: the Iconography of the Nations Founding.
Christofle will host a Gallery Talk presentation on its design history at 11am.
D Lan Galleries has invited Australian curator, Vanessa Marino, to give an in-depth tour of Significant, the gallerys flagship exhibition on Australian First Nation art at 11am & 2pm.
Di Donna has mounted a major exhibition Dali: The Great Years 1929-1939. The most significant exhibition in New York since the MOMA exhibition in 2008.
Luxembourg + Co. will host a Gallery Talk discussion at 2pm on the pivotal role of motorized technologies within 20th Century Art showcased in their exhibition Useless Machines.
Lévy Gorvy Dayan will present The Adventure of Dominico Gnoli Baladas by Amrig Santos, the largest exhibition by the artist in five decades. The survey represents a critical continuation of Gnolis legacy in America.
Onishi Gallery presents a Gallery Talk at 3pm on its exhibition Metalwork and Lacquerware introducing audiences to Japanese masterpieces shaped by centuries of inherited skills.
Rosenberg & Co. offers a guided walk through of the exhibition The Artist and His Dealer: Giacomo Manzu and Alexandre Rosenberg at 2pm.
Rubin&Chapelle hosts a conversation with the Austrian abstract artist, SMAX aka Vienna (Stefan Piech) and the curator, John Silvis at 1pm and 2pm.
Skarstedt Gallery exhibits Faces and Figures. Sprawling across gallery locations in New York, London and Paris, the show demonstrates the myriad ways in which artist, model and character have been reconfigured from mid-twentieth century to the present.
Thomsen Gallery offers a Gallery Talk at 2pm and 4pm on Japanese Contemporary Ceramics and Modern Paintings.
White Cube presents works by American artist David Hammons and the late Greek-Italian artist Jannis Kounellis the first two-person exhibition of their work in over 30 years.
