How to advertise and promote your business on facebook? Simple guide to get real results

Everyone and his brother has heard that Facebook is advertising platform number 1 and how powerful it is. However, not everybody has tried it yet. Just think, the population there is over a billion of users and nearly 70% of them are subscribed to business pages. You should seriously consider the options you have in front of your business ..and the money you loose if your business is still not there.

It is high time to correct it and is going to tell you how to do it correctly. Here we go!

First stage. Getting prepared
We will certainly reach the point where business page registration is required, but there is something you should do beforehand - gird up the loins. Be serious with this step as success of other stages directly depend on them.

State goal of your campaign
We are not talking about something like “get 100k of followers in a week”. The question is a bit different. Answer honestly:

Why do you bring your business to this social network?

The answers can be different, starting from increasing brand awareness or website traffic improving or to have close relations with your audience. No matter what it is, but your strategy of promotion will be guided by your decision now.

Create a content plan
Certainly, you can try everything you like, but let’s spend the time for something more sustainable - analyze your competitors. As a variant, you can focus on the following things:
● amount of followers;
● types of posts that get more responses;
● how active their audience is and when it happens;
● promo posts, quizzes, polls and all that stuff.

You can collect the information manually or using special tools. As a result, you will have tons of thought-provoking info: ideas for new materials and already know which of them are appreciated and which are ignored by the audience. In general, you will know your public before they will know that you exist.

Step 2. Finally, create your webpage
There is nothing really difficult on the process itself, just be careful with choosing the category of your page and its time to go to some decoration work.

Pay attention to the cover. What you will need there:
some text (up to 20% of the space);
call to action;
photo of the project;
short description of your offer;
some infographics about attractive options, like quizzes, sales and so on.

Choose logo.
You can take your photo, company’s logo or any other image you like.
Remember, this sign will identify you in the newsfeed.
Be careful with the colours, it is better to be not more than 3 of them used at once. Too big detalization is also not needed here.

There are thousands of variants: discount coupons, FAQ, free offers, test-drive schedules.

Step 3. Fill in the data
It is the time to find your content plan and fill in your Facebook page according to it. Don’t hurry and do everything as you have planned long before.
What content is the best for using?
Well, at first, it is that one you have planned to create on previous stages.

But, remember, people come to social networks to relax, have fun and chat with friends. It means they are not ready to digest serious researches or something like that. Instead, they will prefer something simple and intelligible messages with images and some entertaining material.

By the way, guys, we are sure that you know how popular videos are nowadays. Facebook is not an exception - you should certainly try them.

Please, be diligent
Of course, there are tough times when it seems you have no time for content creation, but self-consistency and continuality is a key to success. Users are not ready to admit you are tired, ill or had some urgent issues you had to resolve exactly with your business.

Several hints what you can do here:
hire someone who will write posts for you, there is a sea of freelancers who will be ready to help you at affordable price;
allow time when you do nothing, but write a new post;
you might have had an inspiration and created several articles - don’t post them all at once, use option of postponed publication: people will get their materials on a regular basis and you will have time for breathing.

Step 4. Promotion
Advertising is the best and simplest way here. One of the first secrets is to use selling words for this network: special offer, discount, sales, benefits, more details…

And, of course, retargeting.

No matter what you choose, remember the following:
publish something else except photos;
do not ignore users’ questions and comments;
be moderate with the length of your posts.
