Banksy artworks of hope

“The Little Girl with the Red Balloon” by Banksy's is one of his most famous artistic productions. It was produced in 2002 in London in full view of passers-by. He painted his work on a staircase, but you should know that this work exists in several copies because it is a series of production. He made his work using a stencil, like most of his works.

In this artwork, everyone can see a little girl standing alone in a dress with some balloons. She stretches out her arms towards a red heart-shaped balloon. To the right, we can see an inscription “THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE” which means “there is always hope”.

It is arguably Banksy's most iconic work of art. Behind the little girl dropping her balloon, on the stairs to the right, is inscribed in chalk, the following message "There Is Always Hope" (There is always hope). In October 2018, a reproduction of this work went on sale in London. But when it is auctioned for more than a million euros, the British artist triggers a self-destruction mechanism that shreds the work. Banksy has renamed it since “Love is in the Bin”. Now you can also buy banksy sculpture by following the link.

Directed by Banksy, "The Little Girl with the Balloon" is Britons' favorite work of art, according to a poll of 2,000 people published on Wednesday. Sold at auction in 2014, this graffiti is one of the artist's most popular works.

One of Banksy's graffiti came first in the ranking of the 20 best British works of art published this Wednesday 26. Called Girl with Balloon, it shows a little girl releasing a balloon in the shape of a heart, a work of art which is one of the artist's most popular works. Right next to this art piece was the famous inscription that there is always hope.

Stenciled like most of his works, this design was painted in 2002 on the facade of a London store. But in recent years, the English and tourists can no longer admire it: in 2014, it was detached from the wall to be auctioned, which was bought for 500,000 pounds, or around 560,000 euros.

That year, Banksy had also hijacked his work on the occasion of the third anniversary of the Syrian conflict, considered to be the "most serious humanitarian crisis of the 21st century". To show his support for the victims of the war in Syria, he, therefore, resumed his work by adding a veil on the child's head. As part of the #WithSyria campaign, led by Amnesty International, Oxfam, and Reporters without Borders, the artist also created a video on the theme of the little girl with the ball. People also buy banksy sculpture for decoration purpose of their houses.

Based on a survey of 2,000 people, the ranking of Britain's 20 best works of art also honors the oil painting The Hay Cart (1821) by John Constable, which came second in the ranking. It is followed by the painting The Singing Butler (1992) by Jack Vettriano.
