Bossier parish authorities are currently handling the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on account of the parish residents that experienced severe damages throughout the three flooding events that occurred from the beginning of 2009.

He informed the members of the jury that they typically have three available pots of money for Hazard Mitigation Trust Funds between 2009, 2015 as well as 2016 and $2 million was generated between 2009 and 2015.
