LOS ANGELES, CA.- Abell Auction Co. will present an important two-day fine art, jewelry, antiques and design auction on March 15 and 16 in Los Angeles. Collectors and connoisseurs will find a curated selection of over 70 lots of exquisite estate jewelry, featuring a breathtaking 10.22 carat diamond ring (estimated $200,000-$300,000) and masterfully crafted pieces by Bulgari, David Webb and other world-renowned designers. Live online bidding begins at 10 a.m. PDT each day.
This highly anticipated sale also spotlights the prestigious personal collection of acclaimed designer George Doan, offering exceptional 18th and 19th century French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese furniture and antiques. Doan, a visionary in design, was celebrated for his work with celebrities, business magnates and political leaders worldwide. He transformed a historic Pennsylvania firehouse into an architectural gem and designed interiors for James Biddle, former president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Fine jewelry highlights include a 10.22 ct. diamond ring; Bulgari 18 karat yellow gold, gem-set diamond necklace; white gold and diamond riviere necklace; 18 karat yellow gold, multi-colored sapphire necklace; platinum, yellow gold, diamond and sapphire ring; yellow gold, emerald and diamond choker; David Webb 18 karat yellow gold ruby and diamond earrings; David Webb 18 karat yellow gold and platinum, turquoise, sapphire and diamond flower brooch; Corum 18 karat yellow gold coin watch; Jaeger-LeCoultre 18 karat yellow gold Reverso moon phase leather watch; Henry Dunay 18 karat yellow gold woven collar necklace; and other elegant pieces that will appeal to discerning buyers.
